Relaxed Coastal Living
We’ve carefully furnished the villa to give you what you need whether you’re a family or group of friends holidaying together.
Jeanette has used her experience as an interior designer to create an interior which is practical – and we hope you’ll agree – beautiful.
Two sofas are set in prime position to enjoy the view. The dining table seats 6 and is extendable. We have set it back in the corner as most people will probably mainly use the outside dining area – but left the layout flexible (the sofas can be moved around).
The Kitchen
Vassiliki is well served with restaurants, so how much use you make of the kitchen is up to you. But we wanted to ensure that when you do decide to cook, you have all you need.
There’s a fridge freezer, full oven & 4 ring hob, microwave & dishwasher. We’ve included plenty of crockery. For those who like their food and drink we added some extras – a bean to cup coffee maker, Nutribullet smoothie maker, hand blender and food mixer (just in case you need to make cake).
We doubt many people go on holiday to count the cutlery and cups, but we’ve provided enough to cope with the day’s meals without constantly raiding the dishwasher!
Sustainability
Amidst beautiful scenery and close to crystal clear waters, it’s important to us that the way we furnish and run Villa Petros cares for the environment.
We carefully sourced our linens, buying organic cotton where possible and choosing eco friendly duvets and pillows.
We have added ceiling fans to each bedroom and two for the living area, as a sustainable alternative to air conditioning. (The villa’s air conditioning units have been recently serviced to ensure they are functioning safely.)
We’ve had to replace a lot of lights, including all the outdoor ones, and have chosen LED to reduce energy use, whilst providing plenty of light to enjoy the warm evenings.
You’ll also find 8 Chilly’s reusable water bottles for use during your stay – perfect for use by the pool or out and about.
